Enable Optimal Performance Mode in Windows 10

On Windows 10, an optimal performance power mode is available but hidden in power options. To make it appear, follow our guide.

To do this, open the Start menu, enter CMD and do Entry.

The Guest of Controls opens. Enter the following command:

powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61

And do Entry to validate.

A confirmation message appears on the command line as in this screenshot:

Then access power modes via the command powercfg.cpl since the start Menu.

A new fashion has just appeared” Optimal performance“.

Check to activate it. The changes are immediate.

This mode should bring very slight performance improvements on the latest generation high-end PCs. To be tested.
