Here is a small registry hack to let you display the Recycle Bin shortcut in Computer.
Open the start Menu, enter regedit and do Entry.
Before any manipulation, make a backup of the registry, you never know!
In the Registry Editor, search for the following key using the tree:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace
We're going to have to create a new key in the registry. To do this, right-click on Namespace, choose to Nouveau then Key. Name it like this:
{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
Close the Register, open Computer and admire the result: your trash is here!
In the same vein, you can add Network Connections Shortcut to Computer.
That’s cool. I wonder if it’s gonna change the settings somewhere else on my computer.
Hello and Happy New Year to the whole team — Tested this tip and it works hairy — Good continuation and fun —
Happy New Year too!
Thank you very much for the trick!
Thanks for this good advice, I will be able to remove my only shortcut on the desktop, very clear and effective explanation, thanks to this we take to familiarise this with the register
Sniff! it works...
Maybe this is because of ClassicSchellSetup_2_9_2, which is installed on my computer?
For info this little soft allows you to find the explorer and start menu like XP, being under seven?
Thank you anyway
I don't know this software but you just can be missed something in the manipulation to do at the registry level.
Why do so complicated while surfing click on the desktop with the right mouse button, choose Personalise (personalisation) then Change Desktop icons (change desktop icons) and tick the trash bin... and the turn is played... without playing in the registers!
